Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease worldwide, affecting 1 % of the population over 65 years of age. Dopaminergic cell death in the substantia nigra and accumulation of Lewy bodies are the defining neuropathological hallmarks of the disease. Neuronal death and dysfunction have been reported in other central nervous system regions, including the retina. Symptoms of PD typically manifest only when more than 70 % of dopaminergic cells are lost, and the definitive diagnosis of PD can only be made histologically at post-mortem, with few biomarkers available.

In this study, a rotenone-induced rodent model of PD was employed to investigate retinal manifestations in PD and their usefulness in assessing the efficacy of a novel therapeutic intervention with a liposomal formulation of the PPAR-γ (Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma) agonist rosiglitazone.

From my experience, octane is much faster than cycles and higher quality because it is a spectral renderer. Cycles is nice to quickly set up the lighting in your scene, but I use octane for the beauty renders. I hope blender will get an octane plug-in soon, this real-time animation rendering looks pretty useful 0_o

I have yet to make my own tofu scramble. Telling you the truth, I am sort of afraid to try to make it. I like tofu but I don’t if that makes sense. I wanted to have a natural unmedicated birth. My daughter had other plans. She was 4 days overdue and my amniotic fluid was dangerously low. I went into the hospital that night to be induced. It was overall a good experience even though I had cervadil, pitocin and the epidural. Since you’ve delivered prior I think there is a good chance you won’t need a c section. Good luck. tramadol worked for a couple months when I 1st started taking it. But then, like I said, I started taking more and more and it gave me seizures. Went there on Saturday – overall was mildly disappointed – some high lights (duck hearts with butternut sauce – tasty perfection, similar to warm foie gras) to almost completely forgettable (sea urchin with a horseradish jelly that tasted of almost nothing) to downright terribble (cod served ice cold -should have been warm- and in one of my dinner party full of small bones)…frankly not worth the money….that day I did the new Tom Aitkens set menu for £27 which was far,far superior in every way.
